CMAP 366 Desktop Publishing II
Overview: This class is will cover the following topics:
-Adobe InDesign 1.52 (how to use software program)
-Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (advanced skills)
-Adobe Illustrator 10 (how to use software program)
-Advance techniques in layout and design (newsletters, brochures, ads, letterhead, etc.)

CMAP 483 Advertising Design
Overview: This class is designed to teach students the basic fundamentals of advertising design and layout. Students will be required to produce complete advertising campaigns (which can consist of, but not limited to, billboards, posters, brochures, newspaper advertising, magazine advertising, direct mailers, package design, etc.).

CMEM 390 Electronic Media: Web Design I
Overview: The focus of this course is to expose the students to the essentials of website creation through practical/hands-on experiences. We will accomplish this goal through a combination of in-class activities, assigned readings, and class projects. The main goal of the above methods will be to teach students how to layout/design a web page, add text , graphics, and audio/video elements in combination to create aesthetically pleasing websites that are rich in content, visually captivating, and easily navigational.
