My name is Tanya Jury. I am finishing two classes this summer to complete my Rank I at Morehead State University. I teach seventh grade Language Arts and Social Studies at Bardstown Middle School in Bardstown, Kentucky.
I also graduated from MSU with my Master's degree through the MAT program. I have a Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University in Broadcasting and Political Science and an Associate's Degree from Saint Catharine College in General Studies.
I have a 19-year-old step-daughter, a 7-year-old son, and a 6-month-old son. I am married to a wonderful man. We have been married for a little over two years.
You will find on this website a page about Millie Blandford, an educator extraordinaire. However, she is more than an educator...she is my mom and my best friend. When I learned I had to interview and create a biosketch about someone who had made a contribution to education, I immediately thought of my mother.
